RETURN, REFUND & WARRANTY POLICY

At GoldRiff, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. After 30 days, all sales are considered final and are covered by our 1-Year Limited Warranty (see Section 8 below).
2. Return Authorization Required
All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping. Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Items received without a valid RA number and unclaimed within 30 days of receipt will be disposed of.
How to start a return:
Email support@goldriff.com with: — Your order number — Reason for return — Clear photos of the product in its original packaging
Our team will review your request and issue an RA number along with shipping instructions, typically within 24 hours.
Important: Do not ship returns to the address on your original package. Returns must be sent to the address provided with your RA number.
3. Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be:
— In new, unused condition
— Free of scratches, dents, or signs of play wear
— Returned with all original components, accessories, cables, and packaging
— In the original box with all labels intact
We are unable to accept returns on:
— Items showing signs of use (pick marks, string wear, drum pad indentations, scuffed finishes)
— Items with unauthorized modifications (aftermarket pickups, rewired electronics, removed components)
— Custom or special-order items
— Gift cards
— Sale or clearance items marked as final sale
4. Return Shipping
Our error (defect, damage, or wrong item shipped): GoldRiff provides a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
Change of mind: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for instruments, as GoldRiff cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
5. Damaged or Defective Items — 48-Hour Claim Window
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
Shipping damage: If your item arrived damaged in transit, contact us at support@goldriff.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include clear photos of both the damaged product and the outer shipping box. We will send a free replacement as quickly as possible — in most cases, you will not need to return the damaged item.
Wrong item received: If we shipped the wrong product, we will cover all shipping costs and send the correct item immediately.
Defective product: If your instrument has a manufacturing defect (electronics malfunction, hardware failure, structural issue), contact us within 48 hours for a free replacement or full refund. Photos or a short video of the defect will help us resolve your case faster.
6. Restocking Fee
Items returned in original, unused condition with all packaging: Full refund, no restocking fee.
Items returned with minor cosmetic wear, missing accessories, or that require repackaging: A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. We will notify you before processing if a restocking fee applies.
7. Order Cancellation
Before shipment: You may cancel any order before it ships for a full refund. GoldRiff covers all costs, including payment processing fees.
After shipment: If you request cancellation after the order has shipped, it will be treated as a standard return. The original shipping cost incurred by GoldRiff will be deducted from the refund amount.
Out-of-stock: If a product you ordered is discovered to be out of stock, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund. We cover all costs in this situation.
8. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status via email. Approved refunds are automatically processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us at support@goldriff.com.
9. 1-Year Limited Warranty
All GoldRiff instruments and electronics are backed by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
What is covered:
— Structural defects in the instrument body, neck, or frame
— Electronic failures (pickups, wiring, amplifier circuits, drum module malfunctions)
— Hardware defects (tuning machines, bridges, pedals, keys, knobs)
— Finish defects that appear under normal use
What is not covered:
— Normal wear and tear (strings, drumheads, drum sticks, picks, minor surface scratches)
— Damage from misuse, accidents, drops, unauthorized modifications, or neglect
— Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or moisture
— Consumable accessories (cables, batteries, picks, straps)
How to file a warranty claim: Email support@goldriff.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video. Our team will respond within 24 hours.
Under warranty, GoldRiff will provide free replacement parts or a replacement unit at our discretion. The customer is responsible for shipping costs of warranty replacement parts. If a full unit replacement is issued, we cover shipping both ways.
10. Exchanges
Want a different color or model? Contact us within the 30-day return window and we will arrange an exchange. If the replacement item is a different price, we will charge or refund the difference. Exchange shipping is free for the first exchange per order.
