Troubleshoot First, Then We Step In
Most issues have a quick fix.
Cosmetic damage present on arrival (scratches, dents, finish chips) is covered under our shipping damage policy. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll determine whether a replacement part, cosmetic repair kit, or full unit swap is most appropriate.
Small surface marks that are part of the natural wood finish (grain variation, minor texture inconsistencies) are not defects — they're characteristics of real wood-finish products.
Each product ships with specific accessories — check the "In the Box" section of your product page to confirm what should be included. If something listed there is missing, email us your order number and a photo of the box contents. We'll ship the missing item within 2 business days.
Please contact us immediately with photos and your order number.
This is almost always a headphone jack detection issue. The piano automatically mutes speakers when it detects a plug in the headphone jack — even a partial or loose connection.
1.Fully remove the headphone plug. Check that nothing is partially inserted in the headphone port.
2.Power the piano off, wait 10 seconds, then power back on.
3.Check that the master volume knob is not set to zero.
4.If still silent, try a different power outlet and check the power cable connection is firm.
If speakers remain silent after all steps above, this may be a hardware defect covered by warranty — contact us.
The piano reads pedal polarity on startup. If the pedal was pressed when you powered on, it has been calibrated backwards.
1.Power the piano completely off.
2.Make sure the sustain pedal is fully released — not pressed at all.
3.Power on. The pedal polarity is now correctly calibrated.
Keep It Looking And Sounding Great
A few minutes of regular care will keep your GoldRiff instrument looking and sounding great for years.
🎸Guitar Care Guide
Keep your strings fresh, your body clean, and your neck healthy.
Wipe strings with a dry lint-free cloth after every session. Sweat accelerates corrosion and kills sustain.Clean the body with a soft damp cloth. Never use household sprays — they damage the finish. Use dedicated guitar polish monthly.Store in a room between 45–65% humidity. Extreme dryness causes neck warping; excess moisture swells the body.Change strings every 3–6 months with regular play, or sooner if they feel rough or sound dull.Keep away from direct sunlight and heating vents. Temperature extremes crack finish and destabilise tuning. When not in use for extended periods, loosen strings slightly and store in a gig bag or case.
🎹Piano Care Guide
Digital pianos need less maintenance than acoustics, but a little attention goes a long way.
Clean keys with a slightly damp cloth. Wipe along each key (not across) to avoid pushing moisture between gaps.Never use alcohol-based cleaners on keys or the cabinet — they strip the finish and degrade key texture over time.Dust the speaker grille monthly with a soft dry brush. Blocked grilles reduce sound quality.Keep the fallboard (key cover) closed when not playing. Dust on keys accelerates surface wear. For wood-finish models: apply a small amount of furniture wax to the cabinet twice a year to maintain the finish.Avoid placing drinks or plants on or near the piano — a single liquid spill can permanently damage the key mechanism.
